Do you translate to Peninsular or Latin American Spanish?
I can translate to both varieties of Spanish, whichever is the one you choose.
Do you translate to British or American English?
I can translate to both varieties of English, whichever is the one you choose.
Can you translate websites?
I can. To translate a website, first I need you to place all of the website's text on a modifiable document (Word or similar). I will translate said document and deliver it to you in the same format it was originally in. Uploading the translated text to your website will be up to you.
Are you OK with large projects of maybe 10k, 20k, 50k words or more?
Sure, I am! If you have a large project, make sure to message me beforehand so we can make all the necessary preparations, answer every question the other may have and clear up every doubt before I start working.
I have a PDF with really complex formatting, can you keep it untouched?
Sometimes, but I cannot guarantee it. To work on PDF files, I convert them to the Word format. In that process, the document's formatting may or may not be altered. For best results, provide me with a natively modifiable document (Word, Publisher, Excel, InDesign, TXT, etc.).
Do you have experience translating software/strings of code?
Yes, I do. As of today, I have translated several games, applications, and other software.
Do you have experience translating/localizing video games?
Yes, I've worked with game studios before for the translation and localization of their games, particularly in Spanish.
Do you translate legal documents?
Yes, I do. However, you have to make sure buying the translation from me will be in compliance with your country's laws, as some countries require legal translations to be done by local, state-approved translators.
Do you proofread documents?
I proofread every translation before delivery. If you mean a dedicated proofreading service, check out my proofreading gig!
Are you used to working with CAT tools?
Yes, I use MemoQ and PoEdit/PoEditor regularly. I can also work with Localize Biz, Weblate, Wordpress and others.
