Studio Luchicas — Creative Direction & Spatial Experiences

Instagram • Freelance

May 2025 - Present • 1 yr 5 mos

Expanding my architectural practice into creative direction, spatial experiences, event production and community-based projects. Developing creative concepts, visual identities, workshops, markets and experiential events from initial idea through planning and production. Responsibilities include spatial layouts and event flow, vendor curation and communication, workshop and activity coordination, sourcing, graphic materials, styling, setup and on-site organization. I also develop creative objects and hands-on projects involving different materials and craft techniques, exploring the relationship between design, making and storytelling. This work reflects the broader approach behind Studio Luchicas: understanding the identity and purpose of a place or project, developing a clear concept, organizing its spatial and visual components, and translating an idea into a coherent experience.

Independent architectural and spatial design practice developed through remote and international work. Working on residential renovations, small-space transformations and creative environments, from spatial analysis and concept development through layouts, technical drawings, 3D visualization, material and furniture selection, procurement and project coordination. Projects include apartment renovations, kitchen and bathroom redesigns, creative studios, music spaces, custom furniture and remote residential projects. Responsibilities range from client consultation and space planning to technical detailing, material sourcing, supplier and carpenter coordination, and on-site or remote project follow-up. My approach combines architectural thinking with functionality, spatial experience, materiality and attention to detail, with a particular interest in transforming existing spaces and finding intelligent solutions within real constraints.
