Will my books be tax ready for my CPA or accountant?
Yes. I reconcile every bank and credit card account to its statement, categorize every transaction and close the period, then send you the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow exported from QuickBooks. Your CPA can file straight from them.
Can you catch up my books for 2025, 2024, 2023 or earlier years?
Yes, I can catch up 2025, 2024, 2023 and even earlier years. I work year by year from your bank and card statements, and each year closes with its own reports, so the opening balances agree with your last filed return.
Can you finish my books before my tax filing date?
Yes. Tell me your filing date and how far behind the books are, and I will plan the work around it and give you a delivery date before you order.
Do you also file the tax return or run payroll?
I prepare the books and the reports, and your CPA or tax preparer files the return. I do not file tax returns or run payroll, but I record the payroll figures from your payroll provider in QuickBooks.
What do I need to send you to get started?
Accountant access to your QuickBooks, the bank and credit card statements for the period, and a few lines about what your business does. I will guide you through the accountant invite step by step.
Can you continue my QuickBooks from where my previous bookkeeper left off, or do you start from scratch?
I continue from your existing file. I review the chart of accounts and the last reconciled month first, correct what needs correcting, then carry the books forward from there.
Which QuickBooks do you work in?
I work in QuickBooks Online on every plan: Simple Start, Essentials, Plus and Advanced. If you do not have QuickBooks yet, I'll help you pick the right plan before you buy it.
My transactions are more than the package. How will you price it?
I price every order on your real volume. Message me your monthly transaction count and the number of bank and card accounts, and I will send you a custom offer with the full scope and delivery date.
Do you offer monthly bookkeeping after the catch up?
Yes. Each month I categorize the new transactions, reconcile every account and send you the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, so your books stay tax ready all year.
Is my financial data safe with you?
Yes. I work only inside your QuickBooks through accountant access, I never share your data with anyone, and you can remove my access as soon as the work is delivered.
