A manuscript evaluation is a big-picture, insight driven assessment of your story. I read your manuscript and provide a report covering whats working, whats not quite hitting the mark yet, and where your story has the potential to grow. I will read your manuscript and provide a detailed report covering plot structure, character development, pacing, genre alignment, and reader experience, and overall cohesion. This service is charged as a flat fee based on word count.

What format do you work in?
I’lI edit manuscripts in Microsoft Word using Track Changes and comments, and Google Docs. That way you can accept or reject every suggestions. I work thoughtfully and respectfully with your manuscript, with the goal of strengthening what you’ve already crafted.
Which genres do you work with?
Contemporary romance (spice absolutely welcome) nad cosy crime. That’s my sweet spot and where I do my best work. If your manuscript falls outside of those genres, feel free to reach out anyway; I am always happy to have a chat and try to point you in the right direction if it’s not a fit.
What if I disagree with an edit?
Then we talk about it! Every suggestion I make comes with a reason and care. You’re always welcome to push back and ask questions. It’s your book and your voice — my job is to sharpen it, not overwrite it.
I’ve never worked with an editor before — what should I expect?
