I work on building end-to-end AI systems for autonomous marine monitoring, from cloud data architecture (GCP & BigQuery) to computer vision models for underwater habitat segmentation and real-time visual perception. My role supports autonomous systems and large-scale environmental data analysis. - Design and maintain the Google Cloud & BigQuery data architecture, enabling scalable ingestion, storage, and analysis of large multimodal datasets (imagery, environmental sensors, telemetry). - Develop computer vision models for underwater seabed and habitat segmentation, including multi-label semantic segmentation of vegetation, geological features, and seabed structures. - Build end-to-end ML pipelines covering data preprocessing, annotation workflows, training, evaluation, and deployment. - Implement real-time object detection models (YOLO) for visual perception, supporting autonomous navigation and situational awareness systems. - Contribute to AI-driven environmental monitoring solutions, from raw data collection to cloud-based analytics and visualization.
