I built it around a realistic client brief from a growing customer-support business. The client’s problem was that support agents were spending too much time searching through documentation, organizing incoming tickets, and repeatedly writing similar answers. They wanted to introduce AI, but they did not want unverified responses being sent directly to customers. My solution was ResolveAI: a full-stack customer support operations platform where AI assists the team while people remain in control. When a ticket arrives, ResolveAI searches the organization’s knowledge base and creates a suggested response with source citations. The assigned agent can review, edit, and approve the response before it becomes part of the customer conversation. I also built: - Ticket assignment, priorities, statuses, and conversation history - Organization-level data isolation - Owner, administrator, agent, and viewer permissions - Knowledge-document processing and retrieval - AI response drafts with citations - Human approval workflows - Support analytics, notifications, and audit history - Secure authentication and rotating refresh tokens - Database migrations, background tasks, tests, and CI Technology stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Python, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Celery, Docker, Pytest, and Vitest. This project taught me that adding AI is only one part of the solution. The real engineering work is making it secure, explainable, measurable, and useful inside an existing business workflow.
