I am engaged in providing comprehensive legal support to a statutory corporation involved in industrial development and infrastructure across Gujarat. My role primarily involves litigation management, legal advisory, and coordination with external counsel, ensuring effective risk mitigation and compliance with applicable laws. I manage and monitor litigations filed by and against the Corporation before the High Court of Gujarat, civil courts, and various statutory authorities, including matters relating to land acquisition, allotment disputes, contractual breaches, recovery proceedings, and regulatory compliance. I coordinate closely with empanelled advocates by preparing case briefs, conducting detailed legal research, compiling documentation, and providing strategic inputs to ensure effective representation of the Corporation’s interests. I also provide in-house legal advisory support to various departments of GIDC on issues relating to statutory interpretation, contractual obligations, industrial policies, land laws, and government regulations. This includes reviewing and vetting agreements, notices, affidavits, pleadings, and official communications to ensure legal soundness and procedural compliance. I also assist in policy-related legal analysis, vetting of internal proposals, and examination of legal risks associated with industrial development projects. My role requires regular interaction with government authorities, internal stakeholders, and legal professionals, ensuring timely resolution of legal issues and adherence to governance standards.
