Being an author isn't easy. The long hours sitting in front of a computer, dwelling on that blank page in front of you can be agonizing.
Allow me to ease your burden by providing you with honest, concise feedback on your manuscript. My goal is to work with you, and your needs; to tailor my services to each individual author.
For every reading, I aim to answer any questions you may have, including, but not limited to:
- Immediate Reaction - providing a plot summary, thoughts on point of view, and how engaging the story is
- Character Development - how your character changes over time, inconsistencies to their inner/outer monologues, relatability, and growth between character relationships
- Pacing - how quickly did we build up to that slow burn?
- Dialogue - any inconsistencies, redundancies, and developmental growth of characters
- Plausibility - how likely is this to happen in your realm?
- Readability - how your style influences the book and it's fluidity and clarity throughout
- Repeating Issues - anything that just seems out of place that keeps popping up
