Sobre este Serviço
I'm Katie, an independent animator and coder in Los Angeles with years of experience in the motion picture industry. My work is inspired by 2000s-era cutout animation, glitch aesthetics, and surrealism. I hand-draw physical art in my production process
When you hire me to create animation, here is what to expect:
- We chat a bit about your idea and project.
- I'll send you a mood board and, if applicable, rough character designs
- I'll send you a rough edit of your video with temp characters. This is where the revisions rounds (if applicable)
- I'll send you the final video with cleaned up animation, synced to your audio for final sign-off
- I'll deliver a .MP4 file synced to your audio.
Select the Gesture option if you would like an simple or abstract interpretation of your idea.
Select the Soloist if you would like a speaking/singing character for your idea.
Select the Narrative option if you would like a story to unfold over the course of the video through dialogue and/or montages.
Additional characters available in the Add-ons! If you are not sure what option to pick, feel free to message me.

Perguntas frequentes
What is the difference between a Gesture-tier character and a Soloist-tier character?
A Gesture-tier character has no facial animation. It has a head and maybe a few static facial features. Gestures are good for silhouette or stick-figure animation. A Soloist-tier character has a face and facial animation. Soloists are good for lip-sync, dialogue, or singing.
What software do you use to animate?
Rokoko Studio, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
Do you use generative AI to create your visuals?
No.
What do you use to draw the backgrounds and props?
I use India ink, marker, and pen on watercolor paper. If you would like to purchase the physical backgrounds and props at the conclusion of your project, let me know!
