No. This is big-picture editorial analysis focused on structure, momentum, and reader engagement. I do not correct grammar, rewrite prose, or provide tracked changes.
What file formats do you accept?
I only work with Word documents (.doc or .docx). While feedback is delivered as a written report rather than in-line edits, I take detailed internal notes so I can reference specific passages accurately in the final report.
What will I receive when the order is complete?
You’ll receive a written editorial report tailored to your package, with specific recommendations listed in priority order. I may reference particular lines or moments, but this is not an annotated manuscript.
What genres do you work with?
I specialize in science fiction and fantasy (SFF). I believe genre conventions are crucial for getting openings and pacing right, so I stick to what I know best to ensure you get the most value. For that reason, I work exclusively within SFF and do not critique other genres.
Will you tell me how to fix the issues you identify?
Yes. You’ll receive actionable revision priorities and clear guidance on how to move forward. I won’t rewrite the manuscript for you, but I explain the "why" behind every critique so you have a concrete roadmap for your next draft.
Can I send more words than the package allows?
No. Each package has a firm word limit. If your manuscript exceeds it, please upgrade to the appropriate package or message me before ordering.
Are revisions or follow-ups included?
Revisions are not included in these types of reviews. I’m happy to clarify feedback if something is unclear, but this service does not include additional critique rounds.
