I'm a complete beginner. Is that okay?
Absolutely. We'll start from wherever you are, even if that's zero. No pressure, no judgment.
What time zone are you in?
I'm based in Asia and move around the region, so my time zone is usually somewhere between GMT+7, GMT+8, GMT+9. Just let me know your availability and we'll find a time that works.
What if I need to reschedule a lesson?
Just message me at least 12 hours before your lesson and we'll find another time. Life happens, no worries.
What happens if I miss a lesson without notice?
If you don't show up and haven't messaged me in advance, that lesson will be marked as used. I'll always wait 10-15 minutes before marking a session as a no-show, just in case something came up
Can lessons focus on business Japanese instead of casual conversation?
Yes, tell me your goal in the requirements and I'll build the lesson around it, whether that's business, travel, or everyday conversation.
Do you teach reading and writing (hiragana, katakana, kanji)?
I can include this if it's part of your goal, but my main focus is helping you speak and understand real, natural Japanese.
How do lessons happen?
Live 1-on-1 on Zoom. It's a conversation, not a lecture.
How long do I have to use my 3 or 5 lesson package?
Lessons should be completed within 60 days of purchase. This gives you flexibility with your schedule while keeping momentum in your learning.
What happens if I don't finish all my lessons within that time?
Unused lessons after 60 days are non-refundable. I'll always try to remind you and help you schedule before the deadline, but please make sure to book your sessions within the validity period.
