Shopify Onsite Payment Integration with SumUp

I recently worked with a business owner who wanted to accept onsite credit card payments using a SumUp card reader while managing products through their Shopify store. The goal was to create a smooth connection between their physical sales and their Shopify inventory system. For this project, I handled the full setup and integration process. I configured the Shopify POS environment and connected it with the SumUp payment system so the client could securely accept credit and debit card payments in person. I also ensured that all transactions automatically synced with the Shopify dashboard, allowing the store owner to track sales, manage inventory, and monitor payment records in real time. In addition, I optimized the POS settings, tested the payment workflow, and provided guidance on how to use the SumUp card reader with Shopify during onsite sales events, pop up stores, and physical customer interactions. The final result was a fully functional onsite payment system that allowed the client to accept secure card payments, improve checkout speed, and manage both online and offline sales from one centralized Shopify platform.
