Supporting Dos Tercio meant becoming involved whenever a commercial decision carried consequences beyond its immediate business value. I worked with management to determine how proposed ventures, partnerships, customer arrangements, and operational changes could be structured without exposing the company to unnecessary obligations. Rather than reviewing agreements only after negotiations were complete, I participated earlier in the process. I clarified responsibilities concerning pricing, performance, ownership, confidentiality, payment, warranties, exclusivity, and withdrawal from a business relationship when circumstances changed. Another aspect of my position concerned the company’s commercial identity and proprietary interests. I addressed trademark usage, promotional materials, creative assets, confidential business information, and arrangements allowing third parties to use company content or branding. When business relationships became difficult, I analyzed what had actually occurred against the commitments originally made. Unpaid balances, service disagreements, missed obligations, unauthorized uses, and termination disputes were handled through negotiation, written demands, settlement discussions, or further legal action when appropriate. I also assisted with internal policies and compliance questions affecting employees, contractors, customer interactions, recordkeeping, and everyday operations. The position required more than identifying legal problems; it involved giving Dos Tercio workable options that protected its rights while allowing commercial activity to continue efficiently.
