Former Associate Partner & Director at McKinsey (Brussels). I spent 7+ years (2018-2025) at the Firm and had the opportunity to guide 500+ candidates as recruiter, coach or faculty. My journey spans the whole gamut, from tip-toeing into consulting as a candidate, then getting the opportunity to work at McKinsey and be a coach, interviewer & recruiter. As a candidate, I interviewed with 50+ companies (Accenture, MBB, Strategy& etc.) and had a bumpy ride, cracking some and falling short at times. My journey was long, and so I wish I can share my learnings so your journey can be a lot smoother!

What is going to make our session unique: Firstly, we will be working on one of seven McKinsey-style cases that are very similar to the ones that I personally had during my own case interview journey (similar replica of past retired McKinsey style cases) Secondly, I have had the chance to share these same cases over the course of 500+ case coaching sessions in the past, therefore I will provide you objective feedback / benchmark on what great candidates have done on this case before, what other aspects you could integrate into your performance etc. Thirdly, our sessions are going to be very practical - not generic comments, but specific and tangible action items that you can apply immediately Lastly, having interviewed dozens of McKinsey applicants myself over my last seven years at the Firm, I can share "what we are truly evaluating you on", so you have a little bit of the inside scoop on what it takes to crack McKinsey interviews. Session plan: During our sessions, (unless you have specific other requests), we will work on one of seven McKinsey-style cases, similar to the ones that I personally had during my own recruiting journey. This way I would be able to simulate a real McKinsey interview process as closely as we can. Typically our one-hour session will focus on the actual case delivery itself for about 30 minutes and we will spend the remaining 30 minutes on really getting operational on best-practices, tricks and tips, top-down communication techniques etc. We will partly focus on the specific case at hand and then elevate it to global best practices that you should apply across the board for all future interviews. I am also extensively experienced in steering your personal experience interview (PEI) which is normally just as critical as the case interview itself. Together we run mock interviews, helping to get your stories refined, well thought-through and bullet-proof. PEI is just as important in the interview journey as is the case itself.
