I'm a passionate reader and fiction writer who reads 100+ books a year and offers thoughtful, honest beta reading for fiction authors of all genres. I've written my own novel, giving me firsthand experience with the writing and revision process.
When I beta read, I approach your manuscript as an active reader, focusing on how the story feels, flows, and holds attention.
While reading, I consider:
- Pacing and flow
- Character development and consistency
- Dialogue authenticity
- Clarity and readability
- Emotional impact
- World/setting immersion
What you'll receive:
- In-document first impression comments
- Honest, constructive reader reactions
- A reader report with big-picture feedback on plot, pacing, characters, tone, and overall readability
How I work:
- Google Docs or Word
- Comments while reading + reader report after
- No AI used at any point
Please note:
- Fiction only (no nonfiction or children's books)
- No line or copy editing
- Message me for manuscripts over 100k words

Do you use AI in your reviews?
No. I do not use AI at any point in my beta reading process. I personally read every manuscript and write all in-document comments and reader reports myself.
What genres do you read for?
I read most fiction genres and am always open to new ones. If you’re unsure whether your genre is a good fit, feel free to message me!
Do you take on projects longer than 100k words?
Yes! Please message me with your word count and details, and I’ll create a custom offer for you.
Do you offer line editing or copy editing?
No. This gig is for beta reading and big-picture feedback only. I focus on story, structure, characters, pacing, and reader experience rather than grammar or line-level edits.
What file formats do you accept?
Google Docs or Word documents are preferred so I can leave in-document comments.
Do you read sensitive or dark content?
Yes. I am comfortable reading dark, intense, and sensitive subject matter.
Can I message you before ordering?
Absolutely! I’m happy to answer questions and make sure we’re a good fit before you place an order.
Will you fix my grammar or rewrite sections?
No, but I may point out areas where clarity or wording could be improved as part of reader feedback.
