I will review your pcb for manufacturability, assembly issues, and design risks
Electronics and Firmware Engineer, Software developer
Sobre este Serviço
Avoid expensive PCB mistakes before fabrication and assembly.
I will review your PCB design for manufacturability, assembly risk, and practical engineering issues that can lead to failed prototypes, rework, delays, or unnecessary cost.
This gig is for technical review and feedback, not full redesign. It is ideal if you already have a PCB and want an experienced engineer to check it before manufacturing.
I can review: PCB layout, DFM/DFA issues, schematic-to-layout consistency, footprint risk, trace widths, clearances, grounding, power distribution, decoupling, protection basics, connector orientation, assembly risk points, BOM consistency, and manufacturing file completeness.
You will receive: A clear written report with prioritized findings and practical recommendations, including which issues are critical and which are optional improvements.
This service is ideal for startups, makers, engineers, and teams who want to reduce prototype risk and avoid costly mistakes before sending boards to fabrication or assembly.
ATENTION: Before ordering, please always contact me first.
Note: This gis does not include design dervices.

Perguntas frequentes
What exactly do you review?
I review your PCB from a practical engineering and manufacturing perspective. Depending on the files you provide, I can check layout quality, DFM/DFA risks, power and grounding concerns, footprint issues, connector mistakes, manufacturability problems, and documentation consistency.
Do you redesign the board as part of this gig?
No. This gig is for review, findings, and recommendations. If you need redesign work, that should be discussed separately.
Which files should I send?
Ideally: schematic PDF, PCB layout files, Gerbers, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place file, and a short description of the board’s purpose. Native CAD files are helpful when available.
Which PCB software do you support?
I can work from standard manufacturing outputs and design exports from common EDA tools. Native project files are helpful, but Gerbers + schematic PDF + BOM are usually enough for a useful review.
Can you review only Gerbers if I do not have the source files?
Yes, but the review will be more limited. Gerbers are enough for layout and manufacturability observations, but not for deeper schematic-level checks.
Will you check if my board will definitely work?
No honest engineer can guarantee that from files alone. I can identify risks, mistakes, weak points, and likely problem areas, but I cannot guarantee first-pass success.
Can you review high-speed, RF, audio, or power electronics boards?
Yes, but the usefulness depends on the completeness of the information you provide. More complex boards benefit from better documentation and clearer design goals.
Do you review boards before production or after prototype failure?
Both. This gig is valuable before fabrication, but it can also be useful if your first prototype has issues and you want an expert second opinion.
What will I receive at the end?
You will receive a structured review report with identified issues, severity/priorities, and practical recommendations for improvement.
