I’m Janice Goveas, a strategic communications leader with over twenty two years of experience in building reputations, crafting content that makes you feel, and advocating for the voices that often go unheard. Whether it’s shaping employee culture, partnering on executive visibility, or driving equity through storytelling, I believe communication must move beyond optics, it must build trust. My work sits at the intersection of inclusion and impact. Having seen neurodivergence very closely, I sponsor of the Persons with Disabilities ERG at Merck, not because I want to speak about about accessibility, I have lived it - up close and personal. From launching India-wide voice training programme for women leaders, to building internal advocacy for physical and invisible disabilities, I use empathy, clarity and courage to change the narrative. I also bring an entrepreneurial spirit to everything I do, whether it's supporting startups and social entrepreneurs through community-driven content, or building Helen’s Kitchen, my home-chef venture in the pandemic. Every experience has shaped the leader I am today: collaborative, values -led, and committed to meaningful progress. My mission is simple: elevate communications to the strategy table, make inclusion a habit not a headline, and support women and caregivers who feel they can’t lead, yet.
