As a freelance Webflow developer, I've worked directly with SaaS startups, digital agencies, and small businesses to solve one of their most persistent problems: websites that look decent on the surface but are unmanageable underneath. Over the course of 15+ projects, I redesigned and rebuilt Webflow websites where the CMS had become a tangled mess of inconsistent fields, duplicated content types, and structures that broke every time someone tried to add a new page. My process starts with an audit of the existing site — understanding not just what looks outdated, but why the backend has become a bottleneck for the team trying to maintain it. From there, I restructure the CMS from the ground up: building clean, purpose-built collections for blogs, case studies, product listings, and team pages, with field names and structures that make sense to non-technical users, not just developers. A recurring theme across these projects was reducing the time clients spent on content updates. Several clients came to me spending 30+ minutes updating a single blog post or product page because the original build wasn't structured for scale — nested elements, inconsistent styling classes, and fields that didn't map cleanly to what they were trying to publish. By rebuilding these systems with clear, editable field structures and reusable components, clients were able to publish and update content independently, without needing to loop in a developer for routine changes. Beyond the CMS work, each project also involved a visual redesign — moving away from generic templates toward layouts built specifically around the client's conversion goals, whether that was demo bookings for a SaaS product, lead capture for an agency, or product visibility for an e-commerce brand. Every build was fully responsive and tested across devices, with attention to page speed and clean, semantic code that wouldn't bloat as the site grew.

I've helped 10+ small businesses and e-commerce brands transition from WordPress and Squarespace to Webflow, guiding them through a process that's often intimidating for business owners who've spent years building content on a platform they've outgrown. These clients typically came to me frustrated — their sites were slow, their content was fragmented across inconsistent page templates, and their existing platforms couldn't support the growth they were planning for. Each migration started with a full content and structure audit of the existing site: cataloguing every page, blog post, product listing, and media asset, then mapping out how that content should be reorganized once rebuilt in Webflow. Rather than a literal copy-paste migration, I used these projects as an opportunity to fix the underlying problems — turning scattered, one-off pages into structured CMS collections that could scale without manual rebuilding every time new content was added. A major focus of this work was SEO continuity. Migrations carry real risk of losing search rankings if redirects, metadata, and URL structures aren't handled carefully, so I built out full redirect maps, preserved and improved on-page SEO elements, and ensured heading hierarchies and metadata were consistent across the new site. Page speed was another consistent win — clients moving off WordPress in particular saw meaningful load time improvements once freed from plugin bloat and inefficient theme code. On the design side, each migration doubled as a redesign opportunity. Rather than replicating an outdated look on a new platform, I worked with clients to modernize their layouts, improve mobile responsiveness, and build conversion-focused pages suited to their actual business goals — whether that was product sales, service inquiries, or content-driven lead generation.
