Serene Labs (Dallas, TX). Through Serene Labs I lead technology for owners and operators as a fractional CTO, take repeated work off their team's week, and build, audit or rebuild products. I have worked as fractional CTO on an AI and maps mobile assistant MVP, as fractional technical product lead on a v1 water-monitoring dashboard for industrial controller data and as embedded AI program lead for a B2B SaaS firm. I am working as technical lead on a marketplace's web platform rebuild, and as senior technical lead for a mid-market operator that does not need a full-time CTO. Other work: a freight platform, an order-email processor, an invoice reconciliation and a pre-launch code review. I start with discovery, write the scope and an acceptance test, build one accepted piece at a time and keep a person approving what matters. I am one accountable lead on your project. I use generative AI on client work and tell clients so before we start. I also build Serenity and Sous, my own AI agent systems. Neither is set up for clients yet.
