I got into web design because I kept seeing talented people stuck behind websites that didn't reflect their work photographers, barbers, musicians, restaurant owners, all undersold online.
I build Squarespace, lovable, base44, wix portfolio sites and landing pages across industries, and my approach is always the same understand the business first, then design around it. Clean builds, proper mobile experience, and something you can actually manage yourself after handoff.
