Project Overview: Taco Bell Philippines is a fast-food chain known for its bold Mexican-inspired dishes including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, with multiple locations across Metro Manila. The brand needed a complete website overhaul to better serve their growing customer base, showcase their expanding menu, and integrate seamlessly with third-party delivery platforms. What I Built: Designed and developed a fully custom WordPress theme capturing the bold, vibrant Taco Bell brand — vivid colors, strong typography, and mouth-watering food photography layouts Built a dynamic digital menu system using custom post types, organized across categories including Tacos, Burritos, Crunchwrap Supreme, Naked Chicken Taco, Chocodilla, Cravings Value Meals, Big Bell Box Series, Bundles, and Combo Meals Wendy's Integrated a branch locator using Google Maps API allowing customers to find the nearest Taco Bell by location Set up delivery redirect links to GrabFood and Foodpanda directly from the menu pages for seamless order flow Built a What's New / Promotions section with a custom CMS so the marketing team could update deals and new product launches without developer help Implemented a Hotline Menu page with a clean, printable layout for phone orders Optimized the entire site for mobile-first experience since the majority of their traffic comes from smartphone users Key Responsibilities: Full custom WordPress theme development (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) Custom post types for dynamic menu management by category Google Maps API integration for multi-branch store locator GrabFood and Foodpanda delivery button integration Promotions and blog CMS for non-technical marketing team use Key Results: Website fully launched in 5 weeks covering all Metro Manila branches Mobile PageSpeed score improved to 93/100 Marketing team independently managing menu updates and promotions after handover Organic search traffic increased by 48% within 2 months of launch
