If you have a finalized cosmetic formulation and need testing before launch or production, this service provides certified lab testing through an accredited facility.
Tests offered (based on package):
- USP <61>: Microbial count
- USP <62>: Pathogen screening (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, etc.)
- USP <51>: Preservative efficacy (PET)
- Accelerated stability: 3-month test under controlled conditions
- Formulation review: Theoretical INCI assessment for stability and preservation
You'll receive PDF lab reports, photo documentation (for stability), and technical comments.

- HRIPT (patch testing on 50 volunteers) is available separately through a certified lab. This allows claims like dermatologist-tested. Contact me for a custom quote.

Do you offer formulation development services?
Yes, I do offer custom cosmetic formulation services, but it is not included in this testing gig. If you’re starting from scratch or need help developing a stable, effective formulation, please message me or visit my separate gig for formulation development.
What is accelerated stability testing?
Accelerated stability simulates product aging using elevated conditions (e.g., 40°C / 75% RH) over 90 days. It helps predict shelf life and detect issues like separation, color shift, or texture change.
What is PET (Preservative Efficacy Testing)?
PET, or USP <51>, is a lab test where microbes are introduced into your product to evaluate how well the preservative system controls growth over time.
Can I claim my product is safe or stable after this?
You’ll receive certified lab reports showing your product's performance in safety and stability testing (at the end of the testing period). These documents are often used to support safety, shelf life, or preservative claims—depending on results.
Do you offer HRIPT through a dermatologist (patch testing)?
Yes, but not through standard packages. HRIPT (50-person patch testing) is available upon request as a custom quote. Please message me if you need it
Can you help if my formulation fails a test?
I’ll clearly explain any failures and offer feedback. However, troubleshooting or reformulation is not included in this gig. If needed, I can recommend next steps or offer a separate formulation consultation.
Do you offer refunds if I don’t like the results?
No. Due to the nature of lab testing, refunds are not offered once testing begins. If you cancel before samples are submitted to the lab, a partial refund may be possible. Please ensure you're confident in your formulation and ready for testing before placing an order.
Do you offer revisions?
Revisions apply only to the presentation of results, not the test outcome itself. If clarification is needed on your report, I’m happy to assist. Test data cannot be changed or re-run without a new order.
