Hi, I’m Clara. I help authors see their manuscripts through a reader’s eyes.
Every manuscript reaches a point where the author can no longer experience it as a reader. That’s where I come in. I provide thoughtful, text-grounded feedback that shows where attention holds, where it drifts, which moments stay with the reader, and where the manuscript may need more work, not just what’s wrong, but why it matters.
Whether you’re writing fiction, or nonfiction, my goal is simple: to help you understand the reading experience you’re creating and shape your manuscript into its strongest version.

Clara has read for me across several books now. She names the mechanism, not just the symptom — not only that her attention slipped, but that a reflection had stepped out of the room to explain what the scene already showed. And she is more apt to tell me where I moved off something too soon than to tell me what to cut.
