I was appointed to establish and lead the planning function in a company operating without an ERP system or formal planning infrastructure. Leveraging my extensive prior experience, I designed and implemented end-to-end planning systems and processes from scratch, tailored to the organization’s unique operational needs. I successfully developed and implemented a fully customized production planning tool, transforming a previously manual and disconnected process into a streamlined, data-driven workflow. I also spearheaded the complete migration of historical and active production data into the new planning tool, enabling accurate capacity planning, delivery tracking, and real-time production monitoring. In addition, I conducted numerous data analysis reports to support operational decision-making and developed several Excel-based automation solutions to minimize manual work and improve efficiency. I introduced structured and scalable workflows for line loading, capacity allocation, and delivery schedule tracking, ensuring alignment between operational capacity and customer demand. To strengthen operational coordination, I established cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Cutting, Production, and Quality teams to align production plans with operational capabilities and delivery priorities. I also led organizational change management efforts, including training sessions, user support, and process documentation, resulting in high system adoption and improved operational efficiency. Overall, these initiatives significantly improved visibility, accountability, and decision-making speed across planning and production functions in a previously unstructured environment.
