I love teaching things I am passionate about, and I am passionate about database technologies with Microsoft SQL Server. You will learn the basics of installing Microsoft SQL Server (Developer Edition), you will understand that this is for non production purposes per the license agreement, and this is for your own private use personally from your machine for development purposes (#Educational purposes).
From there, we will go into common pitfalls with the configuration of the Microsoft SQL server and using maintenance scripts to automate database maintenance tasks.
With the common packages, I will show you the basics of SQL Server Management Studio, and SQL Server Configuration Manager.
The packages vary based on how soon you'd like to start learning or if this can be scheduled out. I am flexible to everyone's scheduling needs and educational learning styles. My goal at the end of the day is to share my experience working in the field and training others and hopefully spark with you the same joy of coding I have.

Why should I pick you?
I'm a well-seasoned veteran of IT Automation. If you want someone who has read the microsoft white pages, has practiced this over the last 10 years for a day job, and is a Certified Scrum Master, I am your guy. Plus this is fun for me.
I'm new to the internet, is this class for me?
While I am a strong believer that anyone can code at any age level: Having some basic understanding of computer science does help. While being new to the internet would make relating to the material difficult, I am up to the challenge if you are.
Do you speak in another language besides English?
I only speak English, except for coding language jokes. I have immense respect for those who can speak another language, though. If you do not speak English, while your money is still good here, this would make my ability to teach very difficult, even with Google Translate (which is horrible).
I have a learning disability, is this class for me?
You're in good company, I have one too. I teach best with your feedback. If something isn't working for you, let me know. That isn't a problem.
If I need to learn this in a short amount of time... can you accomidate?
Yes. I have a regular day job still and responsibilities that follow, but I will take time off work for the expedited premiere package.
I live in another timezone that isn't "Eastern Time Zone"
I'm sure we can make scheduling work. If we are both flexible with scheduling, there are no time zones off limits, just time of day pending your selected tier. I will schedule based on EST, and teach you about storing time in UTC in your database. Time math is fun.
