I’m the founder of Fraynck, a resume service focused on helping blue-collar workers, tradespeople, and operators present their experience properly when applying for jobs. My background is in the Australian civil and mining industry, where I’ve worked closely with trades, plant operators, labourers, engineers, safety and supervisors. Through this experience I saw a common problem: highly skilled workers were missing out on opportunities simply because their resumes didn’t clearly show their experience, tickets, or site knowledge. At the same time, I’ve worked in recruitment and HR within the construction and resources sector, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and helping with hiring decisions. This gave me a clear understanding of what employers actually look for when selecting candidates for roles in mining, civil construction, transport, and trades. Fraynck was created to bridge that gap. I specialise in building clean, practical, easy-to-read resumes that highlight the things that matter most to employers in these industries, such as: • Machinery and equipment experience • Licences, tickets, and certifications • Site and project experience • Safety and compliance knowledge • Reliability and work history My goal is simple: help workers turn their real experience into a resume that clearly shows their value and improves their chances of landing interviews. I work with clients across a range of industries including mining, FIFO, civil construction, transport, logistics, apprenticeships, and trades. Fraynck focuses on straightforward, professional resumes built for real jobs, not corporate templates full of buzzwords. Resumes. Done Fraynck.
HR Coordinator
Civil Construction Company • Período integral
Apr 2024 - Present • 2 yrs 2 mos
I currently work in the Australian civil construction and resources sector, supporting large-scale infrastructure and site-based operations. In this role I work closely with tradespeople, operators, supervisors, and project managers across a variety of projects and locations. My work involves assisting with recruitment, workforce coordination, and onboarding, which means I regularly review resumes, screen applicants, and help identify suitable candidates for site roles. Through this experience I’ve developed a strong understanding of what employers look for when hiring within industries like construction, mining, transport, and trades. I’ve also gained exposure to the wide range of roles that exist across these sectors - from plant operators and mechanics to labourers, supervisors, and technical specialists. Seeing the hiring process from the employer side has provided valuable insight into how resumes are assessed and why some candidates stand out while others are overlooked. This industry experience gives me a practical perspective on how workers can better present their skills, experience, and certifications when applying for jobs in these environments.
Underground Operator
Mining Company • Período integral
May 2021 - Apr 2024 • 2 yrs 11 mos
Earlier in my career I worked on site within the mining industry, where I started as a truck driver and service crew operator supporting underground operations. This role involved working closely with production and maintenance teams while gaining hands-on experience with the day-to-day demands of a working mine. As I developed my skills and experience, I progressed into operating a loader, working directly within production and development headings and becoming more involved in the movement of materials and coordination with other underground crews. I later moved into the production charge-up crew, gaining exposure to drilling and blasting operations. During this time I was also beginning to learn how to operate a jumbo drill, expanding my understanding of underground development work and the specialised equipment used in these environments. Working across several roles on site gave me a strong appreciation for how mining operations function and the wide range of skills required across different crews. It also provided valuable experience working alongside operators, tradespeople, and supervisors in a safety-focused, production-driven environment. I later moved into an HR-focused role, bringing with me a practical understanding of the industry from the worker’s perspective and the realities of site-based work.
