If you have settings in mind, I'm happy to process exactly to your specifications. If not, I can make some tasteful decisions based on the material. Even if you have a rough idea of the sonic qualities, I can take it from there.

An order includes 1 file, the file can be a single instrument or a full mix. If you are intending on processing a large batch of files, please get in touch and I can create a custom offer for you!

Foremost The Silver Bullet is a stereo preamp. Neve (thick and smooth) or API (powerful and present) style preamps are used. These can be ran individually or cascaded into each other to create new saturation qualities.

A tight filter rolls off the super lows with a slight corner bass bump, similar to tape. The vintage filter is similar to a Neve desk and gentley rolls off the very high frequencies. EQ shelving options include sub, bass, presence and air. It's honestly really hard to make these sound bad.

Bringing musical material into the real world, to be effected by transformers and metal, is great for breathing life into programmed or sampled material. It can also level up the sound of a performance tracked with less characterful equipment.

I use a Cranborne 500ADAT for all my digital to analog and analog to digital processing. The conversion is very clean and ensures no degradation of the signal.

I work out of my home studio space. It's a great listening environment treated with GIK acoustic bass traps. I'm really familiar with how my monitors sound, so I can use my ears and taste to their fullest when I process your material.

The processing will make the tracks easier to mix when that eventually happens. However this gig does not include balancing of tracks, just processing. The Silver Bullet is a true stereo tone amp, so it can be used to process either mono or stereo files.

My Audioscape 76A can be used as an insert inbetween the preamp and EQ section. I sounds amazing on vocals and bass, but could be used on any mono source. It really gets the sound present and in your face.

The RND 542s use a tape head and so behave similarly to real tape. There are options for speed settings which can cause a very pleasing low end bump. The red silk saturation setting is a modern classic and sounds incredible on everything. I also have a pair of Chop Shop EQs which have a tilt EQ.
