I work as a self-employed MT5 Expert Advisor developer, focused on building and refining automated trading systems that are designed to hold up in real market conditions. Most of my work is centred around improving performance through structured backtesting and optimisation, with a strong focus on consistency and keeping drawdown under control. I’ve worked across a range of strategies including trend-following, pullbacks, and range-based systems, taking ideas from basic concepts through to stable, usable trading setups. A big part of what I do involves refining core components like EMA-based trend direction, ATR-driven stop loss and take profit, and trade management tools such as break-even and trailing stops. I’ve also tested systems across different brokers and environments, which gives a better understanding of how real conditions affect performance, not just ideal backtest results. My approach is straightforward and practical — no overcomplicating things, no shortcuts, just building systems properly so they actually work.
