Dritan Angoni is an Albanian-German tenor with a warm lyric voice. He grew up in Tirana and moved to Germany in 2017, already holding a Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from the Music University of Tirana. He continued his studies with a Master of Arts in Opera at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. He took masterclasses with Saimir Pirgu and received formative vocal and artistic guidance from Ruth Frenk, who supported him particularly in the development of vocal sound, textual clarity, and stylistic confidence in both opera and operetta repertoire. Since the 2021/22 season, Angoni has been a member of the ensemble at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theatre. As a lyric tenor, Angoni’s repertoire is versatile. His main focus lies in opera, while he also appears regularly and confidently in operetta productions. His stage roles include the Prince in Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges, Alfredo in Verdi’s La Traviata, and Tamino in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. In Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, he performed the role of Hans.
