New websites / website redesigns can include:

- Site Description
- Contact Info
- Social Media Links

- Mobile Friendly Site Design
- Basic SEO - Site Title and Description, Keywords, etc.
- A Favicon and a Social Sharing Image
- Choice of pages (an "about me" page, a home page, products or services, a contact page, an FAQ page, etc.)
- Footer Setup - contact info, links to social media accounts, etc.

I'm glad you found my little corner of the interwebs! I have been self employed in the writing and design space since 2009. Being an entrepreneur has shaped and shifted over the years, but now I spend most of my time writing, editing, designing (and over sharing on Instagram).

Is the cost of my domain included in your fee? Are there other monthly/annual fees should I plan for?
The cost of your domain is not included in my fee. Domain fees are approximately $20 per year, and website hosting fees are $18 per month and up - these fees are paid directly to Squarespace. There are discounts if you pay annually and additional discounts if you go thru an SS Circle member (me!)
How long does a typical web design project take?
Less than one week!
Can I update my own website? Or is that something you do?
I am happy to do updates to your website at my hourly rate. This is also something you can do on your own if you have the extra time to learn and desire to do so. Feel free to add on my video tutorial service so I can show you the back end of your website if you plan on doing your own edits!
Do I own my website and its contents?
Yes. Once I transfer the site to your Squarespace account (upon completion of the project), you own the site and everything on it.
How tech savvy do I need to be to go thru this process?
Not very. That's why you're hiring me! You provide the words and the photos and I do the hard part - the initial setup and design. Feel free to add on my video tutorial if you would like me to show you the back end of your website and how to make simple edits going forward.
Can I use my own photos?
Sometimes. Photos can be difficult though because they have to be high resolution and the right orientation to properly render on the desktop as well as the mobile version of your site. And of course, they would have to be photos you owned - we can't use other people's photos without permission.
Do you help with website content writing and photos?
Absolutely! I can help edit / spiff up copy that you already have, or I can assist in writing it from scratch. I can also help in sourcing high quality photos to use on your site.
