Beta reading is when a real reader reviews your manuscript and gives honest feedback on plot, characters, pacing, and overall reader experience without editing or rewriting your work.
Do you use AI to review manuscripts?
No. I do 100% human beta reading. All feedback comes from my own reading, understanding, and reader instincts never AI generated responses.
What genres do you beta read?
I beta read romance, fantasy, sci fi, YA, thriller, and memoir. If you’re unsure whether your genre fits, feel free to message me first.
Will you edit or rewrite my manuscript?
No. Beta reading focuses on feedback and reader impressions, not line editing or rewriting. Your voice stays completely yours.
How will I receive my feedback?
You will receive written feedback covering strengths, weaknesses, and clear suggestions. Depending on the beta reading package, this may be structured or chapter based.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your work is treated as private and confidential and is never shared, reused, or discussed elsewhere.
What if my word count exceeds the package limit?
You can purchase extra word count as a gig extra, or message me for a custom offer.
Can you beta read unfinished or first drafts?
Yes! First drafts and works in progress are welcome. Early feedback can be extremely helpful.
Will your feedback be honest?
Yes, always honest, respectful, and constructive. My goal is to help you improve your story, not sugarcoat or discourage you.
Should I message you before ordering?
Yeah, if you have questions, special requests, or a large manuscript, messaging first is always a great idea.
