Painting is audible. I'm Richard, an oil painter who visualizes heavy metal music scores. With the understanding of circuit boards and noise textures as a craftsman designer, I transform the screeching of an electric guitar into sharp lines in the painting. Through the fusion of linen fabric, oil-based pigments, black metal powder and rapid rotating strokes, I create portrait works that combine auditory violence, stage tension and gothic decadence. This painting doesn't need to be hung on the wall; it needs to be placed on the speaker to produce deafening sound.
