Sobre mim
My name is Adem Djerou, i graduated with a master's degree in English Literature & Civilisation from Algeria. Completing Master's Degree is itself a dream come true. I would love to embark on the journey to becoming a prefect and blossom from the effects of this role. I feel I can be a good prefect, a helping hand to others and a good representative. I've been studying English for over 15 years, as well as ESL adjunct professor for 3 years at the University. ... Saiba mais

I teach courses every semester. I make sure my classes are interesting and my students are engaged. We have a lot of discussions in class. I use teaching methods that focus on the students. I also work on the course plan and materials. I make sure they are up to date and follow the rules of the department and the school. I plan out what we will do every week. I use computers and the internet to teach my classes. I put all the course materials online. Use special programs like Canvas and Blackboard. These programs help me give assignments have discussions and keep track of my students grades. When it comes to grading my students I use a lot of methods. I give them essays, exams and research projects to do. I always try to give them feedback that will help them do better in the class. I am available to meet with my students one on one. I help them with their research. Give them advice on what careers they might be interested in. One thing I am really proud of is that most of my students stick with the class all the way through. For example I have had classes where 94 percent of the students stayed in the class. I think this is because I try to make the class interesting and I help the students who are struggling. I use a lot of teaching methods to keep my students engaged and I always try to support them when they need it.
