Built an internal CRM tool in Bubble for a nonprofit organization to track donors, pledges, and incoming payments. Before this, donor information and payment history were scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and bank statements, which made follow-ups difficult and reporting unreliable. I started by reviewing their existing spreadsheets and sitting with the admin team to understand how donations were recorded, how pledges were tracked, and where things were breaking down. Based on that, I designed a simple but structured system that stored donor profiles, donation history, payment status, and communication notes in one place. The CRM allowed staff to see which donors had active pledges, which payments were overdue, and which donations had already been confirmed. I added basic filters and views so they could quickly answer questions like “who hasn’t completed their pledge this quarter?” or “how much came in from recurring donors last month?” without manually sorting spreadsheets. I also built internal notes and follow-up tracking so staff could log calls, emails, and promises made by donors, which helped prevent duplicate outreach or missed follow-ups. As donation volume increased, I cleaned up the database structure to keep the app responsive and reduce data entry errors. By the end of the project, the organization had a clearer view of donor activity, fewer missed payments, and a much easier way to prepare reports for management and board meetings.
