I worked with a client who needed custom 3D models and animations for a Hytale/Minecraft-style project using Blockbench. The goal was to create unique mobs, items, and props that fit perfectly within the game’s blocky aesthetic while still standing out in design and functionality. One of the main challenges was ensuring that each model stayed optimized and game-ready, especially with proper hitboxes, clean geometry, and smooth animations. The client also wanted consistency across different assets, which required careful attention to scale, style, and detailing. To handle this, I maintained clear communication throughout the project, shared progress updates, and refined each model based on feedback. I focused on keeping the designs lightweight while still visually appealing, and ensured all animations were smooth and compatible with the game engine. In the end, the client received high-quality, fully optimized models and animations that met their expectations and improved their project overall.
