The why
Fiverr has always sought to bridge the gap between great ideas and what it takes to bring them to life. Virgin StartUp, created to help founders thrive, has pledged to fund an equal number of men and women entrepreneurs. The Female Founders Competition furthers those missions, offering promising women entrepreneurs access to the resources and guidance they need to see their visions through.

How it works
Eligible entrepreneurs submit a 15 minute online form about their business
4 contestants will be selected to proceed to the semi-finals
Each contestant will be paired with a mentor and given credit to develop their businesses with the help of Fiverr freelancers
Finalists will present their businesses at an in-person event in London in front of our esteemed judges Holly Branson and Gali Arnon

To qualify for the competition, you must be:
- A female founder or co-founder
- A UK resident
- 18 or older
- Available to travel to London for the finals on November 13th, if selected as a finalist

Please be aware of the following key terms and conditions:
- Contest runs from August 19, 2024, at 00:01 GMT and closes on September 16, 2024, at 23:59 GMT. Only 18+ UK resident female founders/co-founders may participate.
- Unfortunately, (a) employees and/or contractors of Fiverr International Ltd (“Fiverr”) and Virgin Start Up Limited (“VSU”) and (ii) employees of agents or suppliers of Fiverr or VSU or their respective holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Contest or its administration are not eligible to enter.
- A Fiverr account is required.
- Max. one entry per person.
- Four finalists will be awarded £3,000 worth of Fiverr Credits to their Fiverr account to be used by November 13, 2024, and will be invited to the final stage of the Contest (see below).
- The final stage of the Contest will involve four finalists using their £3,000 Fiverr Credits, developing their business (including with a VSU mentor, if desired) and presenting in person to a live audience in London who will vote for the winner. The winner will be awarded with a further £15,000 worth of Fiverr Credits to their Fiverr account.
- Travel, travel insurance, taxes, food, drink, gratuities, service charges, flights and transfers are not included.
- The finalists will be notified by September 30, 2024, with details of how to claim their position as a finalist. This will involve being contacted by and/or liaising directly with Fiverr and/or VSU.
- Promoter: Fiverr International Ltd in collaboration with Virgin Start Up Limited.
