I chose to become an art teacher because art has always been a core part of who I am, shaping the way I see, feel, and understand the world. Coming from an artist background, I have experienced firsthand how drawing, painting, and creating can become a powerful language—one that allows emotions, ideas, and stories to be expressed beyond words. While pursuing my own artistic journey, I realized that the true value of art is not only in creating finished works, but in the process of exploration, discovery, and self-expression. This realization led me to teaching. I decided to become an art teacher because I wanted to share my passion, skills, and real artistic experiences with children, especially at a young age when imagination is limitless and confidence is still forming. I believe children learn best when they feel inspired, supported, and free to experiment without fear of making mistakes. As an art teacher, I aim to create a safe and joyful learning environment where students can explore colors, lines, shapes, and textures while also learning to express their thoughts and emotions visually. My background as an artist allows me to guide students not only technically, but also creatively—encouraging them to think independently, observe the world with curiosity, and trust their own ideas. I want my students to see that art is not about perfection, but about expression, effort, and personal growth. By sharing my journey, challenges, and love for art, I hope to inspire children to believe in their abilities and to understand that creativity is something they can carry with them throughout their lives. Becoming an art teacher is my way of giving back to the world of art, nurturing young minds, and helping children discover their own creative voices with confidence and joy, while also building resilience, empathy, and a lifelong appreciation for creativity and learning. I want my students to see that art is not about perfection, but about expression, effort, and persona
