What is VAPI and why do you use it?
VAPI is a professional AI voice infrastructure platform built specifically for production voice agents. Can the agent handle calls in multiple languages?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages include multilingual support. The agent detects the caller language in the first few seconds of the call and switches automatically. No caller needs to press a button or select a language.
Will the agent sound robotic?
No. VAPI uses high quality voice models that sound natural and conversational. I also script and test the agent across multiple call scenarios to make sure responses flow naturally and do not sound like a pre recorded menu.
Can the agent book appointments directly into my calendar?
Yes. Standard and Premium packages include Google Calendar integration. The agent checks availability in real time during the call and books the appointment before the caller hangs up.
What happens after the call ends?
Depending on your package the agent can log a call summary, update your CRM, send a confirmation SMS or email to the caller, and notify your team via Slack or email. All of this runs automatically through n8n.
Do I need a phone number already?
Not necessarily. If you have an existing business number we can route it through Twilio to connect with VAPI. If you do not have one, the Premium package includes Twilio number setup as part of the build.
What information do I need to provide before we start?
A description of your business and call scenarios, your preferred voice tone and agent persona name, any scripts or FAQs you already use, and access to the tools you want the agent to connect to such as your calendar or CRM.
