I will set up server side tracking for your shopify store
Shopify GA4, Ads and Consent Tracking with Server Side GTM
GA4 not matching Shopify? Google Ads, Meta or TikTok missing conversions? Consent banner blocking your data? I find where tracking breaks and fix it. I'm a tracking and data consultant for Shopify and...
Sobre este Serviço
Browsers and privacy tools increasingly limit tracking scripts, so GA4 and your ad platforms see fewer conversions than really happen, and their algorithms optimise on incomplete data.
I move your Shopify tracking to a server-side Google Tag Manager container on Google Cloud, running on your own subdomain (e.g. data.yourshop.com). Your events go through the server to GA4 and your ad platforms, with full control over what data is sent where.
What's included:
- Server-side GTM container on Google Cloud with a first-party subdomain
- GA4 sent through the server
- Standard: Google Ads conversions and Meta Conversions API with event deduplication
- Premium: TikTok and Microsoft Ads, and Consent Mode v2 on web and server
- Testing in GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView and the ad platforms' test tools
- Documentation and a handover call via Fiverr
Real case: a store showed 32 purchases in Shopify, 5 in GA4 and 1 in Google Ads. I traced the losses and set up server-side GTM on Google Cloud.
Server-side tracking respects consent: tags only fire when the visitor's choice allows it.

Perguntas frequentes
Who pays for Google Cloud?
You do, directly to Google. I'll tell you the expected monthly cost before we start.
Does server-side tracking get around consent?
No. Tags only fire when the visitor's consent allows it. Server-side improves data quality and control, not consent.
What do you need from me?
User access to Shopify, GTM, GA4 and your ad platforms, a Google Cloud project with billing, and someone who can add one DNS record.
Will my current tracking stop working?
No. I build and test the server setup alongside your current tags and only switch over once everything is verified.
