What is a press release?
A press release is an official company announcement of a temporally relevant news item for one or more target groups. These can be business partners (B2B) or consumers (B2C).
What formats do you offer?
I offer you press stories, where I distinguish between B2B press releases, which announce a timely relevant news, and B2C press stories, here it's about product releases or advice articles (5 tips for ..., 3 crazy myths about ...).
How many words does a perfect press release have?
There is no universal guideline for the length of press releases. The press release should be precise and exhaustive in order to make the news accessible to the editors and the target groups.
Is storytelling appropriate for my news?
In general, possible starting points for storytelling should always be considered. However, this requires detailed background information in the form of details about the company's history and visions around the current news.
What information do you need to tell our story as a press release?
I need as much information as possible. A description of the company, link to the website, background to the news (W-questions, such as "Why?", "Why?", "Why?", "When?" "Where?") and the target audience the news should reach.
What does a target media list look like?
I create you an Excel with about 25 media, dividing into different industries: General Interest, Finance, Economy, Sports and more. I provide you individually for the appropriate industries the top media.
Can you offer my press release to journalists and media?
No, I am currently concentrating on your content creation. The distribution is up to you, use press portals here and contact suitable target media. If you want, I can create a PR target media list for you, which can help you to place your news there on your own.
Can I use the press text freely?
Of course. Feel free to use the text in your press area or to address your target media or customers.
In which format will I receive the press release?
I will send you the press text - formatted if desired - as Word and PDF. If I have edited images, I will upload the files as JPG.
