Do you work with both legacy Multidimensional Cubes and new Tabular Models?
Yes. With 17+ years in the MSBI stack, I am highly proficient in both legacy Multidimensional (MDX) cube architectures and modern Tabular (DAX) models, including Power BI Premium and Azure Analysis Services.
Do I need to send you my actual company data?
No. I strictly follow enterprise data security protocols. To optimize your model or rewrite queries, I usually only need the metadata/schema (e.g., a .bim, .sln, or .pbix file with the data cleared). Alternatively, we can work securely via a live screen-share on Teams or Zoom.
I need to add new Fact and Dimension tables. Will this break my existing reports?
No. As a Senior Architect, I don't just "hack" tables together. I perform a full impact analysis and dependency check before modifying your Data Source View (DSV) or model to ensure your existing SSRS and Power BI reports remain fully intact.
