I had tried to do all of the porting and the like myself from first principles, and after many attempts and failures I can say that it is far, far from how easy they make it seem. It's so exciting to have my FFXIV char in VRChat! I got 6x outfits, 5x expressions, and some other stuff. Honestly I like tinkering and testing aspects of projects myself so I needed a basic model and I suck at imports from XIV, honestly couldn't have asked for better work and the project is in a state I can add personal additional changes too as well which makes it perfect! (I like adding my own animations/physbones...
