I worked with Herbert, an entrepreneur from Netherlands. Herbert runs a Taekwondo school and needed a seamless system where every form submission instantly created a clean, organized entry inside Monday.com. The concept was simple, but the automation kept failing due to persistent validation errors, particularly around the item name mapping and a multi-select field labeled "Welke sport?" I stepped in to fully rebuild the workflow logic inside Make.com, focusing on how the form data was processed and formatted before reaching Monday.com. Tally.so was configured as the trigger, with Monday.com as the destination. The core challenge was the multi-select field I implemented a custom array processing step that transformed each selected value into the exact label format Monday.com requires. Once the data structure was corrected, I remapped the item name, contact details, and field labels to align precisely with the board schema. Multiple live tests were conducted to confirm workflow stability, validate field behavior across different form submissions, and fully eliminate the errors Herbert had been experiencing.
