I deliver your 3D model for printing in whichever file format your project requires. For 3D model for printing jobs, the most common deliverable is the STL format because it is the universal standard accepted by all 3D printer slicers including Cura, PrusaSlicer, and Simplify3D.
What is the difference between an STL file and an OBJ file, and which one do I need for 3D printing?
The STL format stores only the surface geometry of a 3D model as a series of triangles it contains no color, texture, or material data, which is why STL is the standard for 3D printing. Almost every consumer and professional 3D printer on the market accepts STL files natively.
