All songs are made from scratch in almost any style you'd like. NO COMMERCIAL LICENSING FEES! You own full rights to the songs created for the price shown!
- Pokemon Game Editor/Pokemon Emerald Decomp/PE Expansion - I will create midi and samples but the developer will be responsible for configuring the instruments and song data files.
- Butano/DevkitPro/other Maxmod implementations - I will provide the standalone .it file which can br quickly be imported into maxmod.
All orders also come with high definition mixed and mastered mp3/ogg/wav version at no extra charge.
If needed I can make extra small (under 1mb) songs for games that have tight space requirements.
NOTE: I do not work on games with extreme violence, zombies, gore or adult content.
Who is Beatscribe?
Beatscribe is well known in the Game Boy homebrew scene for his moody and robust soundtracks. His LoFI chill Gameboy music volumes are also quite popular.
How Do You Make These?
I create custom PCM samples optimized for the GBA and build songs in a compatible format. All samples are created from scratch or royalty free sources and optimized to sound as clear as possible on the GBA.

Is this a royalty free song? Do I own it?
Unlike other sellers, you are paying for a song that you own! Its all yours to use wherever. You can even put it on an album and say you made it if you want.
Can I Hear It before I buy?
I make each piece from scratch. If you are a new customer and we have never worked together, I will make you a small sample free of charge according to your order requirements. It will have an audio water mark playing over it. I will only do this one time. If you like the sample, we can proceed.
Why do my songs sound fuzzy or filled with static on the actual GBA rom?
The GBA uses low quality PCM samples, although the songs I make you are crystal clear and mixed professionally, there is no way to avoid some of the buzz and static when it’s converted to run on the actual GBA. If you play a commercial GBA game you’ll hear such noise as well, it’s just the quality l
I want to order a cover song, do I own the rights?
You own the rights to my version. But, that does not mean you are protected from DMCA takedowns by original artist. Additionally, you will have to sign a document stating the cover song is for 'personal use only' before we proceed with such an order.
I only need 10 seconds of audio, does it cost 30% of cost for 30 seconds?
No, the 30 second cost is basically the bare minimum price because setting up instruments takes as much time for 10 seconds as it does for 30 seconds.
