Should I contact you before placing an order?
Yes, that's the main thing for the project to run successfully. The better I understand your requirements, the better I can estimate the project complexity, required time for implementation and pricing.
What are the order requirements?
1. Website link 2. Output format (xlsx, csv, txt) 3. FIELDS to scrape or detailed description of the data you need to be obtained The best way is to provide me an example file with already collected data from 1-2 pages of the site. Saved in format you need. Contact me if you can not complete this.
Can you find some information first and then scrape it?
Sorry, I can only scrape info from the source you provided. I do not search for information. Buyer should provide proper source website for scraping.
I assume the site must have some info that I need, can you extract it?
I DO NOT hack websites or something like that. I only can extract data which was made publicly available by website owners and obtainable for the visitors. If the site content is visible on the pages and reachable through a browser, then it can be scraped. Nothing more.
Can I get a sample of your work?
Yes, you can. But only AFTER I started to work on your order. I need to do 90% of the work to create a full-fledged sample of the scraped materials.
Can you share/sell/create a scraper/script/software/solution for web scraping?
No. I can only perform scraping by myself and provide its result for you.
Can images, files, audios, videos, documents be scraped?
Yes, I can perform files web scraping or images web scraping. Product pictures, audios, videos, pdfs extraction as well. Files will be uploaded in separate folder for you. Renaming and creating a list of scraped files also can be performed. Contact me to discuss such task if you have it.
Can you extract data shown under login/account only?
Yes, I can scrape data which requires login authorization/authentication to view it. In this case buyer should provide an account credentials for login. NOTE! An account can get restrictions.
Can you collect information from a dynamic website or a site with hidden data?
Yes, this can be done. Contact me to check the possibility of data extraction for such sites.
Can you fetch info from limiting sites requires captcha solving, IP rotation?
Yes, this also can be done. Contact me to test the possibility of web crawling/data harvesting from such sources.
