I design and refine end-to-end EDI pipelines in Python and Django so order and document exchanges with major retailers stay reliable, fast and easy to scale. My work includes high-throughput integrations with Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Canadian Tire, Ace Hardware, Tractor Supply, Zoro Tools and others. I automate the full order flow by parsing ANSI X12 850 purchase orders into Django ORM models and managing the automated creation and transmission of 855 acknowledgments, 856 advance ship notices, 810 invoices and 870 status requests. I built a dynamic schema and handler framework that reads vendor specs and generates clean, reusable parser modules without a lot of manual setup. I also maintain secure SFTP and AS2 workflows to keep inbound and outbound transfers stable and compliant with EDI standards. To keep performance strong, I optimize SQL and ORM queries, refactor slow paths and create AWS SQS queues on EC2 to cut down latency and help the system handle heavy traffic smoothly. I also design and update Django models and migration scripts so the platform can adapt to evolving business rules while keeping data consistent.
