As Sr. Software Engineer IOT, my core responsibility is to design and develop IOT Solutions as per the requirements of Foods industry (Retail and CSD lines of Gourmet Foods). I am currently working on following: • Designing of sensors nodes PCBs in Eagle and KiCad. • Firmware development of sensor nodes based on 8/32 bit microcontrollers in C/C++ languages. • Simulation of sensor nodes in Python language. • Writing Python Scripts for Edge PCs/Devices for Data fetching from IIOT devices using Modbus RTU,ModBus TCP (RS485) and Serial (RS232). • Integration of devices on IOT platform. • Designing of Dashboards on IOT Platform for data visualization using available IOT platform Widgets along with widgets customization through HTML,CSS and JS. • Working on Backend tools including MQTT Brokers, Node Red and Rule nodes on IOT Platform for handling data incoming data on devices and asset levels with the respective calculated fields (where required) and triggering the events/alerts(Notifications,SMS,Email) accordingly. • API development (CRUD operations in Python’s Django Framework), ETL tools (Apache Airflow,MageAI) with DAGS in python along with PSQL queries, making hourly and daily summary tables for energy units consumption in production lines & offices on the basis of parent-child relations(set on IOT platform) and production count in CSD lines using Airflow DAGs along with the missing data handling, making charts and reports on Apache Superset through PSQL queries. • Open source IOT platform Upgradation- Front End Modifications as per the business trademark, making builds of IOT Platform for linux servers and its rugged Testing • Handling and managing Services on Ubuntu Servers o Installation and testing of Backend tools & services and dependencies on dev linux servers with Nginx settings o Installation of services with DevOps Team on production servers o Backups, replication and archiving of DBs with DBA Thingsboard (CE) is being used
