Freelance and competitive development work, much of it won head-to-head against other developers on tight deadlines. Wins include a React Native calendar-permissions feature, an AI chat web portal, and note-level biometric security for a mobile app. Three competitive bounties, three payouts, zero QA failures on first submission, each shipped inside a two to six hour window. This is where I learned to read an unfamiliar codebase fast, ship a correct feature under time pressure, and hand it off clean. Work spans React Native and Expo, AI chat integrations, iOS and Android biometric APIs, and WebSocket streaming.

Founder and lead developer at BasisWeb, my own studio. I build the operational systems service businesses actually run on. Not brochure sites. CRMs that get used, lead engines the client owns outright, and automation that still works a month after the demo. I work solo and ship end to end: discovery, architecture, build, QA, and handoff. Clients own their repos, infrastructure, and data. Representative builds: a home-inspection company's full revenue system, where I built the CRM from scratch then bridged their inspection software into it over self-hosted n8n with marketing attribution on top (318 production runs, zero failures, roughly 8,000 contacts migrated with clean dedup). A real-time command center putting leads, jobs, revenue and reviews on one screen. A lead-data engine for a 25-year transportation veteran who grades every vendor against a master answer key, and he owns 100 percent of the code. Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Supabase, n8n, GoHighLevel, Playwright, Docker, Twilio, Claude API. Self-hosted on hardened Linux, plus Vercel.
