• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for sales/use, property taxes and other indirect taxes. • Prepare monthly reports and reconciliations of tax accounts. • Work with vendors, customers, and employees to provide valid/proper sales tax resale exemption certificates. • Work with state tax auditors during compliance audits for sales and indirect taxes. • Coordinates all aspects of state audits, including negotiations of audit findings. • Work with parent company personnel on any tax issues that may arise. • Ensure filing tax returns in all states required by law. • Prepare 1099’s, W-9 forms, unclaimed property reports, and appropriate schedules for the annual financial statement audit. • Monitor systems to ensure data integrity for tax reporting purposes. • Perform and assist with ad hoc accounting and other assigned tasks.
